My First And Last Middle School’s Trip

 

At the last year for middle school, the teachers make an announcement that our school will make a trip for the targeted students, and shockingly, I was one of the students. In addition, it was different experiences from what I imagined.

 

During the discussion, there is a problem that need to be solved. The airport company says that some of the students and the teachers should take an early flight due to the plane problem, so the airport company had take an action to choose five students and three teachers to take that early flight. And guess what? I am one of the students and the only boy from the five students. At that time, I was really nervous because I don’t really talk to girls and the fact that the one that I adore also among the five students just make make my heart wanna burst.

 

On the other hand, there is a lot of unexpexted experience at the first day. First, I experience about unpredictable sleep which is I slept during the flight for a long time, but the time hadn’t passed that much. Then after two hours and fourty five minutes had passed, we finally arrived at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. At that time, we separated from our teachers and they told us to go eat by ourselves while the teachers eat at other places. That was actually my first time ordered food by myself and I asked for helped to people around me. And the thing that I don’t want to happen actually happened, it was I accidently spilled the rice and my friends laughed at me. I felt very ashamed at that time but luckily I was being confronted by one of the students. I really thanks to her.

 

Second, go around city during midnight. After we eat at KLIA, we arrived at teacher house around twelve o’clock. We felt so tired that time. The first thing that comes to my mind was we will pray together and go for sleep right after that. But, the teachers took us to take a look around the Kuala Lumpur city at midnight. And that also my first time go around city passed midnight. I can’t denied that the city actually alive at night and it was a beautiful city no matter when day or even during night. The teachers bring us to a restaurant and let us taste the food that called char kuey teow. I was excited at that time, but my sleepy take over my body and actually fell asleep at the table. I thought I was the only one that feel sleepy, but the fact that all the other students actually also fell asleep makes it even funnier.

 

Thirdly, thing that happened at teacher’s house. After take a look around the city, we finally go back to teacher house around two o’clock. When we arrived, the teachers go sleep right after isya pray, but not the students. First thing we do was we make a circle and chat at trip’s group and told our other friends that hadn’t flight about the environment around the city especially at night. After that, we washed our clothes using the auto washing machine. I was very impressed with the futuristic machine in front of my eyes. After that, when I was preparing myself to pray, and right after takbiratulihram, I saw big and tall person wearing white clothes knocking the window, trying to open the door. I was very shocked that time and almost scream, but I decided to stop my pray and ask my friends if they saw it too. But unfortunately, they didn’t see it and even didn’t hear anything. My body immediately shaking and terrified. Then, one of my friend took a big knife and slowly open the door. Fortunately there is no bad thing happened that night and it was such a scary experienced in my life.

 

Other than that, we visited a lot of places and do a lot of activities during that one week trip. At the second day, the other teachers and the other students finally arrived and we separated from each other because of the group that been divided among the students. The next day, we visited Petronas Twin Tower with two buses. When we arrived, I feel very amazed with the tall buildings around the city and when we entered the Twin Tower, it was my first time in my life to enter such a big mall. And what really take my interest is there’s actually a F1 model that hanged at the ceiling. On the other hand, we go crossed the bridge between the Twin Tower. At first, I feel very scared because of the height, but the teacher confronted and tell me it was fine. I crossed and honestly, I actually hopping that one day I’ll be able to cross that bridge again.

 

Furthermore, we entered Petrosains and learn new thing and try various activities. The first thing that crossed my mind when I heard Petrosains, it was about a place that only teach about science. Yes, it does teach about science, but it’s actually beyond my expectation. The information that I can’t forget was the knowledge about how to choose a proper shoe. So basically, we should not choose to pick a shoe just by looking at the design, but better to choose shoes that have  air at the soles so we wouldn’t feel hurt when we walk. Additionally, there is something that really attract my attention that I hope I can play it for the rest of my life. And it was the driving simulator. I was shocked because I never saw it in real life, and that was the reason why I can’t control my excitement that time. Unfortunately, I actually spend around thirty ringgit to play that simulator. I feel so refreshed satisfied.

 

Last but not least, there is accident happened while we enjoy our time. The realization happened right after we do pray for Zuhr, and that was my friend phones gone. When he realized that he’s phone wasn’t with him, he started panicked and everyone go around Petrosains to search the phone. We’d been looking for the phone everywhere and even tried call it many times but the result still the same. Surprisingly, the one who holding the phone actually me. I really forgot that he asked me to hold he’s phone and he also forgotted about that and I apologized to him. That was really unforgettable memory for us and thanks to that event, we became closer.
